ABOUT THE RABBIS
Rabbi Robert Silverman
After many years of studying, South Florida’s Rabbi Silverman has become a Reiki Master and has volunteered his healing gift with noble causes such as Cancer institutions and Hospice. He has become certified as a Hypnotist and a life coach and has worked with, literally, thousands of people with conditions ranging from Health Concerns and Physical Issues to Addictions and Undesirable Habits – Using the most modern of techniques in offering people effective and, oftentimes, immediate relief from their issues. South Florida’s Rabbi Silverman is truly committed to one thing – Leading a life guided by the heart, where Jewish law and spiritual fulfillment can and do co-exist. Rabbi Silverman also knows that conversion is not only a mission, but rather a wondrous journey, beautifully unfolding and expanding with each and every moment.
Rabbi Michael Raab
Rabbi Michael Raab is a fourth generation Rabbi, dating back to his Great-Grandfather Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Raab, a founder of Petach Tikvah, Israel. Born in Indiana, his family moved to Miami Beach in 1967, where Rabbi Michael lived until moving to Naples, Florida in 2001, where he currently resides. He is well known throughout Central and South America as a Spanish speaking Rabbi who travels to where he is needed for Jewish Life-cycle events. His fluency in Spanish allows our Beit Din to teach and convert in that language. Rabbi Michael also is fluent in Hebrew. He is also known as an outreach Rabbi in Miami-Dade, Collier, Broward and Palm Beach Counties, serving the unaffiliated Jewish Community. Rabbi Michael is proud and honored to have served as Rabbi to people from all walks of life, including the families of Heads of State throughout Latin America.
Rabbi Stephen Spiegel
For the last five years as a resident of Playa del Carmen, Mexico, Rabbi Steve has officiated hundreds of Destination Weddings. He is the only modern progressive Rabbi living full time in Mexico and his name has become synonymous with not only Destination Weddings, but also with other life-cycle events such as Destination Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and Destination Conversions as well. He has a background in marketing as well as business management in the not for profit sector, so his attention to detail as well as an ability to identify needs is fine tuned. Rabbi Steve brings his unique personality and sensitivity to each event gaining the respect and admiration of planners, coordinators, photographers and others. He is the co-founder of the Jewish and Interfaith Wedding Institute, granting certification through education to professionals in the wedding industry.
